Our journey begins with an overview of meditative traditions with special emphasis on how the practice is becoming an increasingly vital antidote for the demands placed on both body and mind by modern culture.

 

- Understand how meditation works on the nervous system to create wellness, ease, and productivity.

- Common maladies that can be helped by meditation practices.

- How to avoid the top three pitfalls even seasoned meditators make.

KNOW YOUR ENEMY?

Meditation can at times feel like a battle. That's because in many ways it is. In 
meditation we're battling the unhelpful tendencies of mind that lead to stress, insomnia, diminished productivity, impaired focus, and more. Tame these habits, improve your life.

- The difference between thoughts and attention and why it matters.

Here we'll be learning how meditation can serve as an antidote.

- Using life's challenges to open the gates to a happier, more

  productive life.

- Breaking the stress habits that lead worry and angst.

 

 

WEEK

5

THE NAKED TRUTH
 

Ups and downs. Life is full of them. And if you want to make happiness, productivity, and empowerment a habit, you need to learn how to make space for the inevitable waves that life will bring your way. Here we go.

 

- Freeing yourself from the past, from harmful beliefs, and from

  negative habits of thinking.

- Keeping your center even when life throws you a curve ball.

- Taking back your power from sadness, grief, or worry.

 

WEEK

6

THE SPIRITUAL DIMENSION
 

Even though it has great practical value, meditation originated as a spiritual technology. In this session, we'll explore the application of the various techniques to the spiritual journey.

- Meditative practices from various religions and traditions.

- How meditation serves to fuel progress on the spiritual path.

- How to use meditation to deepen your connection within your

  own religious tradition.

 

 

YOUR TEACHER


All sessions are led by best-selling author and mind-body wellness educator Eric Walrabenstein who has nearly three decades' experience helping thousands of clients to bolster happiness, productivity, and wellness through mind-body training programs.

 

An ordained Yogacharya (master of yoga) and expert communicator, Eric specializes in the practical application of mind-body technologies from yoga, meditation, and mindfulness for artful, happy, and stress-free living in modern life. 

 

In addition to his work with our military members and veterans, Eric is the founder of Yoga Pura, one of Arizona's largest yoga and wellness centers, and is the president of BetterBox, a first-of-its-kind company specializing in the creation of living personal-development experiences.

His background as a former U.S. Army infantry officer and corporate leader have made him uniquely qualified to tailor ancient mind-body wisdom to meet a wide range of wellness challenges.
