This is so inspiring, but I'll be honest: I'm so out of shape the very idea of doing yoga feels impossible to me. Is there a way to do this without yoga?

Hi Sue, it's best to think of the yoga postures more of a place to do the brain training that "yoga" per se. Toward that end, the yoga postures are not 100% necessary, but they do have many side benefits that also help the process (both cognitively and somatically). With that said, my best recommendation would be to combine your brain-training efforts with a gentle yoga sequence that is accessible to you at your current fitness level. I hope this helps.
